My friends call me Nuna

I'm Mason Nash, a multidisciplinary creative and recent Savannah College of Art and Design graduate with a BFA in Advertising and Branding. (4.0) I move between art direction and copywriting, not because I can't choose, but because I’m a storyteller and they go hand in hand.

I grew up on all things culture in the deepest sense—music, film, food, and all the arts; it's all shaped how I see and, more importantly, how I feel. It's why I can find the nuance in a brand and build from a place that goes beyond what's visible. When I'm not in Photoshop, I'm drawing, fishing, or watching something worth watching (like From). All of it feeds these eyes.

The Workflow

Simple Ideas

Every brief holds an emotion underneath the ask. The first job is finding it, then stripping away the noise until the core of the idea is exposed.

Purify

Once the idea is found, all the sour bits get removed. Not simplified for simplicity's sake, but refined to what tastes scrumptious.

Nuance

The insight that shifts how emotion is felt without announcing why. It's the connective tissue that holds everything together.
(This is the Tylenol for my headache.)

Lasting impact

The standard set for the work before it leaves my filangees. Always make it stick and linger (like a fart) long after the moment has passed.
